Bleach was absent this issue, so a one-shot is filling in.

My Hero Academia‘s second volume shows more growth than what Food Wars! got from its own second volume. On the other hand, World Trigger is showing remarkably low growth for a series that just got an anime, but I think we all know why.

Japanese Issue 9 Info

Cover, Lead Colour: Haikyuu!!
Center Color: Gakkyu Hotei: School Judgment, a one-shot by Keisuke Ikeda

It is exceedingly rare for a series to get a Center Colour before it would normally be ranked. This either shows confidence or popularity. I’d say it simply shows popularity, but recall what happened with Illegal Rare.

If I’m not mistaken, this is normally where we’d start getting new series, but apparently not. Maybe for issue 10.
