Jump ToC Rankings (Issue 41, 2015)

If you’ve noticed my super-lateness recently, it’s due to most of my spare time being taken by law school, so I don’t notice these when they’re first posted.

This time next year, Kochikame will be the first manga to hit 200 volumes.

Best Blue is a flop. At this rate, it looks like Kagamigami will pull a magico, by which I mean it will live for a year simply because there are worse things beneath it.

Nisekoi swings low again, everyone else is as usual.

The next issue will release two days early due to a national holiday on the usual Monday.

Japanese Issue 42 Info

Cover, Lead Colour: Mononofu (New Series)
Center Colour: Hinomaru Zumō, Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma, Straighten Up!
Absent: One Piece

Mononoho is about shogi. It’s the mangaka behind Kurogane, who apparently previously bashed Jump, as well as Reborn! and Medaka Box. If he proceeds to crash and burn again, it’ll be rather funny.
