  • The Humble Monthly Bundle launched to disappointment, as the bundle wasn’t as good as people expected.
  • Atlus has announced Shin Megami Tensei IV: Final, a sequel to the original Shin Megami Tensei IV.
  • Idea Factory International will localize Trillion 1,000,000,000,000: God of Destruction for Spring.
    • A PC port for Megadimension Neptunia VII has been revealed by the ESRB.
    • Fairy Fencer F: Advent Dark ForceMonster Monpiece (uncensored, but without multiplayer) and multiple Neptunia spin-offs have been announced for PC. Neptunia spin-off MegaTagmension Blanc + Neptune VS Zombies has also been announced for localization on Vita.
  • The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel III is under development by Falcom. They have also announced a new Ys game.
  • Super Smash Bros. Brawl mod “Project M” has ceased development.
  • Sega has announced Aoki Kakumei no Valkyria (lit. “Valkyria: Azure Revolution“) for PS4. It will be a bit more of a normal RPG, but the combat system will be similar to the rest of the series somehow.
  • Bandai Namco will be bringing over the God Eater games once again. They’re also localizing Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization.
  • Nintendo has announced (and launched in Japan) a new account system, named… Nintendo Account.
  • Square Enix has announced that Final Fantasy 7 Remake (which will be its official title to avoid confusion) will be broken into several parts.
  • Activision Blizzard have purchased King Digital (the Candy Crush devs) for nearly $6B.
  • Sony has announced that PC and Mac remote play will be a thing.
  • Kojima has left Konami, forming his own studio. They will be working with Sony on their first title.
  • The Steam database was broken into, revealing several unannounced PC ports. I won’t bother repeating the list here.

  • The contracts for Love Live!‘s μ’s will expire at the end of March. They will be replaced by Aqours.
  • A new Danganronpa game, New Danganronpa V3, has been announced. It will be a completely new story. What of the original plot, then? It will be concluded in an anime, titled Danganronpa 3: The End of Hope’s Peak Academy.
  • The Funimation Channel will be relaunching with a new partner.
  • A new Tales anime adaptation has been announced: Tales of Zestiria the X.
  • Level-5 have founded a multimedia subsidiary, named Level-5 abby Inc.
  • Nintendo’s first mobile app will be Miitomo, which is a chat app with Miis. Okay then.
