Well, I can’t deny that it certainly has been a while since I’ve said anything on this blog about the current development state of either game project. Indeed, last time was in September, when I said law school was going to be a time drain and I may need to re-shelve The Turtle Who Had Wings. It turned out that the former was true, the latter was false. But let’s handle these updates one at a time. Continue reading
So, as of just over a month ago, I began living in New York City, for law school. You may have noticed that, after suddenly being on a roll with new posts, they suddenly stopped – that’s why.
Now, while law school isn’t particularly difficult yet, I’m told it will be, and it’s still a fairly major time drain due to the amount of required reading. I will post when I have the time, but the last few weekends have been pretty aggravating (especially this one that just ended). Continue reading
It’s been a few months since I’ve said much about The Turtle Who Had Wings™, so I guess I may as well explain what’s going on with that. As I said before, it’s a fully-3D bullet hell, and I’ve now updated its page to say as much.
I suppose I should explain what I’ve done with that. (BTW, no images right now because no art.) The 6 playable characters have stayed conceptually identical, but I don’t know what we’ll do with the plot (it’ll need to be simpler), so I’ve removed the subtitle for the time being. Continue reading
I’m about a month late posting this here, but it’s a good idea to put this here in a bit more detail instead of only stating it via Twitter.
Firstly, a project update on Battlefield of Love. It now goes by a new title, rather than a tentative one. That title is Love♥Rank: The “Oh Gawd, Too Many People Are Fighting and I Can’t Tell What’s Going on” RPG.
There was a serious gap in time on my blog where little to nothing was posted, only to be followed by me saying that I would be shelving The Turtle Who Had Wings due to issues getting a stable artist. Today, I intend to bring everyone up to speed with this short post, both on that and on other things. Continue reading
This post was, honestly, a long time coming. I just don’t know what to do anymore.
For those unaware, the tenth artist on The Turtle Who Had Wings hasn’t yet quit per se, but all signs point to life forcing his hand. Of course, that also means that’s the tenth artist who’s needed to withdraw from the game. On Twitter and Skype yesterday, I jokingly referred to this as the game being cursed. Continue reading
Well, it’s time that I got to going over the feedback I got recently on the latest build of The Turtle Who Had Wings: The Best Forgery Ever™. There’s a slew of issues, though I’ll exclude things like minor glitches that I’ve already fixed and long-standing known issues that I just can’t quite pin down for good. Continue reading
